I really liked the cozy and homely atmosphere at the guesthouse. The decor had a charming traditional touch, with beautiful local artwork adorning the walls. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, providing a comfortable space to relax and socialize. Additionally, as a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible with ramps and handrails in place, making it convenient for me to maneuver around the property.
I would have appreciated better assistance from the staff in terms of providing information and recommendations for senior-friendly activities and attractions in the area. It would have been helpful if the children working there were more proactive in offering guidance and ensuring a fulfilling vacation experience for senior visitors like myself.

Hospitality from the whole staff. Minutes away from many attractions due to excellent access to a bus stop...

The room at Grand View Guest House was absolutely amazing, with its own private balcony offering stunning views of the mountains. It made me feel like I was on top of the world!
Personally, I found the soundproofing in the room to be a bit lacking. But hey, some people might like hearing the sounds of the city outside.

The guest house had a charming and cozy decoration, with beautiful furniture and pleasant color schemes. The general areas were kept clean and well-maintained, making it easy for senior people to navigate around. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist us with any needs we had. They treated us like family and made us feel safe and comfortable during our stay.
Just one small improvement that would make the vacation even better for senior people would be to have handrails or grab bars in the bathrooms. This would provide extra support and stability, especially for those with limited mobility.

I always return because it's perfect for a romantic escape. They even gave me a local food delivery number on my first stay. Free Wi-Fi, parking, 24/7 reception, security, restaurant. Flat-screen TV, hiking, board games, kids' menu, laundry. No pets, non-smoking rooms, and paid airport shuttle. Can't ask for more!

It had a private bathroom with all the essential toiletries, and the bidet was a nice touch. The flat-screen TV and bathrobes made me feel like a VIP. Plus, the balcony with a mountain view was absolutely stunning. As a guest with disabilities, the tile/marble floor and soundproofing added to my comfort and convenience.
Personally, I found the rainfall showerhead a bit overwhelming, but I know others might enjoy it.

The room at Grand View Guest House was absolutely amazing! The private bathroom had a bidet and free toiletries, making me feel like I was staying in a fancy hotel. The flat-screen TV and bathrobes added a touch of luxury to my stay. Plus, the breathtaking city view from the balcony was the cherry on top. As a budget traveller, this room exceeded all my expectations!
Honestly, the only thing I didn't love about the room was the soundproofing. But hey, that's just me.

We loved staying here! The hotel is located in a great spot, really close to the town center and transportation, with a fantastic view of the tea plantation. The staff was incredibly helpful, offering us tea and coffee on arrival and providing us with information about the area, including organizing transportation for the attractions. The breakfast was tasty and filling, with a mixture of local and western food. We felt very comfortable during our stay, with clean rooms and comfortable beds.
Nothing, all was good. We had a fantastic stay in this city and at this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating during our New Year stay. The food served was delicious and filling. the room was spacious and comfortable with clean and tidy linen. The location was also convenient with various travel options nearby for getting around town. It’s great that they offered a tea factory tour and a trekking trip for an added adventure during our stay.
The WiFi was very poor and barely worked throughout our stay. Another downside was the hot water supply in the bathroom which was inconsistent, making it difficult to take a shower in comfort.
